One wonders how Democrats in the Virginia legislature ever go to restaurants or movie theaters or grocery stores. Nine percent of Virginians have concealed handgun permits, and it is very likely that when they are out in public someone next to them is carrying a concealed handgun.

So law enforcement only will have guns in the Capital? Now if a sheriff deputizes everyone in his county will they be able to carry in the Capital? Legally they would be considered law enforcement.

No they haven't. They have the entire of power of the State protecting them. Even with this law, they have armed security anywhere they want.
It’s amazing how people who believe they are worth more than the common citizens, always pass laws protecting themselves from the citizens (in their minds) before getting around to the real business of shitting on those citizens rights.
The headline is incorrect. It should read:
VA Democrat Legislators ban citizens with guns from the state capital.
Awesome. Will make it easier to over run, and take control over of the Virginia men ever grow some balls and start living up to their states motto!
