We here in Illinois say the same thing about Chicago.
VA will never allow.
VA will need every tax dollar to build their Utopia.
Expulsion, if the Repubs ever get the upper hand divide Arlington and Richmond from the Commonwealth and cast them into the purgatory of appointed supervisors. Why? Try treason, tyranny and usurpation of the rights of Virginians. The blue counties can vote to leave the Commonwealth but then they have to foot their own bills. If the elect to be supervised the conservative government can cut out the corruption, jail the miscreants and send the illegals home. You will be surprised how few people actually vote in those counties.
All of us wsst of 81 need an invite too.
Too bad states don’t have electoral colleges. The only way that people living outside big liberals cities would have a voice.
I’ve lived near Madison WI, Raleigh NC, Corvallis Or, Central VA, Garret County MD, SW VA, SE VA and I have heard the same in all areas. The truth is, outside the city they may vote Republican candidates but on specific issues they desire the same as the city folks. Which is why we get the canidates we do in both parties and why the country is in the mess we are in.
Yes, as long as the vote fraud doesn’t happen.
I think the Constitution needs to be amended, that every ten years the citizens of each county can vote on which state they belong to or to affiliate with neighboring counties to form a new state. Domineering blue urban counties would find themselves out in the cold plenty quick!
Or the red bits of NYS and PA could just form their own state. Otherwise, we’re bugging.
