It’s Clear Now To Dems: Soleimani Strike Was A Trump Slam Dunk

In war, you know you’re winning when your enemy is Iretreating. In politics, you know you’re winning when your enemy’s talking points are limp, convoluted, and nitpicking.

Leading Democrats, and even Republicans who thought President Trump was too swashbuckling in his slaying of Iran’s Quds Force commander Maj. Gen. Qassam Soleimani a week and a half ago, are grasping as straws in their complaints now that it’s clear the killing of the terrorist mastermind has tamed rather than unleashed Tehran’s Islamofascist regime.

The Trump Administration officials who briefed the Gang of Eight in Congress on Soleimani’s planned attacks of Americans “didn’t have specificity,” charged one of the eight, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff on CBS on Sunday. Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo are “fudging the intelligence,” according to Schiff – a term Schiff used three times.

Could the third article of impeachment House Speaker Nancy Pelosi comes up with end up being “fudging of Congress”?

Probably shouldn’t use “Schiff” and “fudge” in the same sentence...

Its entirely possible half of the Iran ruling clique secretly wanted Soleimani dead.

Maybe Trump just removed a major barrier to peace with Iran?

We just don’t know. Such information simply isn’t available, and even our limited view is blurred and distorted by America’s corrupt MSM.

Trump loves to negotiation and he loves to announce grand deals. I sense he ultimately wants to do the same with Iran.

The muslim overlords in Tehran now have their hands full with a country going into wholesale rebellion.

I’m suspecting that perhaps that is also why they are backing down. They just don’t have the resources to deal with more than one thing at a time.

We also now know that we have the support of the Iranian people and that any terror attacks are not from THEM, but from the muslims.

The mask has been torn.

Or money. Who would have thunk that by flooding the market with US petroleum that it would reduce Iran's ability to withstand the sanctions. It is probably hurting Russia and Venezuela, too.

Obama and company would have never considered this option.

I think the Iranians also want Ali Hosseini Khamenei gone, given he was a protegé of Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic. Khamenei was closely allied with Qassan Soleimani, the recently killed military IRGC commander.

Schiff shouldn’t be mixing those words in after the kabuki theater he just supervised.

At the end each of the witnesses was asked specific questions re bribes etc and none of them could site any.

On that basis he lacked the same things he accusing pompeo of.

I can’t wait until somebody is on Pawn Stars trying to sell the Ring that Maj. Gen. Qassam Soleimani was wearing when he got all blowed up.

I’m sure The Beard of Knowledge will verify its authenticity.

I’d throw in a bid myself but it has to have the original finger attached.

If they put it on Ebay selling it with the Finger would probably violate their Terms of Service.

"Its entirely possible half of the Iran ruling clique secretly wanted Soleimani dead...."

That's a reasonable suspicion. Like Stalin, the top mullah is bound to see any popular figure below him as an obvious threat, and not for no reason. If the clerical regime became weakened, an heroic military strongman type would be the first person to step into the vacuum.

——tamed——

Tamed is much too small, too insignificant a term.

If we consider the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor as defense and retribution for the massive American Sanctions, then the attack and death of General Soleimani was the equivalent of taking out Admiral Yamamoto on his flag ship anchored near Hiroshima

The brilliant interpretation of intelligence and resultant action did not just kill a general, the successful attack effectively obliterated that planned to come. There will be no Iranian Midway or Tarawa or Okinawa....... at least not for a long while

When considering what happened, it must be remembered and stressed. President Trump as commander gave the order to execute the plan handed to him by his Generals....... Take out General Soleimani as he tavels from the airport in Baghdad

Why would you think you can't "pack" them in the same sentence?

An accusation of “fudging the intelligence” ... from a guy who has spent the last couple of years investigating the President over a fake intelligence dossier and a fake whistle blower that he manufactured.
