California waterways polluted with alarming levels of dangerous fecal bacteria due to homelessness

California’s beaches, rivers, and streams have become contaminated with alarming levels of dangerous fecal bacteria thanks to the liberal state’s escalating homelessness crisis.

President Trump recently spotlighted the terrifying epidemic on Twitter, when he wrote: “We should all work together to clean up these hazardous waste and homeless sites before the whole city rots away. Very bad and dangerous conditions, also severely impacting the Pacific Ocean and water supply. Pelosi must work on this mess and turn her district around!”

Predictably, the Left mocked Trump, saying he was wrong. A San Francisco official even disputed his allegations.

However, experts say Trump is correct: California’s waterways are becoming increasingly polluted with disease-promoting bacteria because homeless people defecate and bathe in public rivers and streams.

This is dangerous not only for them, but for the public at large because the bacteria can cause an infectious disease epidemic. California Healthlinereported:

I don’t even want to think about unintended consequences-like some tourists visiting San Fran-and returning to their home state carrying the microbes of something like typhus, bubonic plague, cholera, etc...

California DID spawn RONALD REAGAN!

Excuse the technicality, but Illinois "spawned" Ronald Reagan. He went to California in 1937, aged 26.

I’ve heard that in CaCa, every minute 10,000 toilets are flushed and eventually end up in the ocean.

Trump should have the EPA sue California for violating the Clean Water Act. Use the bureaucracy the liberals created against them.

How long before a plague disease rears its ugly head in La-La land? Not hoping for it , please don’t misunderstand. But microorganisms are tough little things that have killed hundreds of millions of people throughout history. And they don’t give a single F*** about liberals feelings.

Plague is in the ground squirrel population already.

The San Francisco plague of 1900–1904 was an epidemic of bubonic plague centered on San Francisco's Chinatown. It was the first plague epidemic in the continental United States.[1] The epidemic was recognized by medical authorities in March 1900, but its existence was denied for more than two years by California's Governor Henry Gage. His denial was based on business reasons, to protect the reputations of San Francisco and California and to prevent the loss of revenue due to quarantine. The failure to act quickly may have allowed the disease to establish itself among local animal populations.[2] Federal authorities worked to prove that there was a major health problem, and they isolated the affected area; this undermined the credibility of Gage, and he lost the governorship in the 1902 elections. The new Governor George Pardee implemented a medical solution and the epidemic was stopped in 1904. There were 121 cases identified, including 119 deaths.[3][4]

Much of urban San Francisco was destroyed by fire in the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, including all of the Chinatown district. The process of rebuilding began immediately but took several years. While reconstruction was in full swing, a second plague epidemic hit San Francisco in May and August 1907 but it was not centered in Chinatown. Cases occurred randomly throughout the city, including cases identified across the bay in Oakland. San Francisco's politicians and press reacted very differently this time, wanting the problem to be solved speedily.[5] Health authorities worked quickly to assess and eradicate the disease.[6] Approximately $2 million was spent between 1907 and 1911 to kill as many rats as possible in the city in order to control one of the disease's vectors.[7]

In June 1908, 160 more cases had been identified, including 78 deaths, a much lower mortality rate than 1900–1904.[8] All of the infected people were European,[7] and the California ground squirrel was identified as another vector of the disease.[6] The initial denial of the 1900 infection may have allowed the pathogen to gain its first toehold in America, from which it spread sporadically to other states in the form of sylvatic plague (rural plague). However, it is possible that the ground squirrel infection predated 1900.[2][9][10][11][12]

Seriously! The old Western TV shows from late 50’s/early 60’s always have actors talk lovingly about “going to San Francisco”.

1. California DID spawn RONALD REAGAN!
2. That was back when California was known and “The Golden State”. Now it’s known as “The Golden Shower and Howdy Dookie State

=================================

Reagan was born in Illinois as I was reminded by IndispensableDestiny.

New York AND California had the myriad of homosexual men. Many of the big cities did.
Then with this country's "acceptance" of them they MOVED out and went to places that were more to their liking...home states and such.

And we’re going there for a couple of days next week. Still got a bit of family there even tho we left 14 years ago.

It's a BIG state. Anywhere in particular? Just curious, not meaning to be nosy.
