You are correct. It should be thought. There is a difference between thought which has to do with thinking and though, which is short for although.

I expect Ivanka will the HOST (AKA keynote speaker)of the gathering. No one believes she’s speaking as an IT/Tech expert.
Wondering if the same people complaining about Ivanka speaking would be the ones listening to Greta Thunberg’s claptrap?
That would not surprise me.
A quick look at past keynote speakers does suggest Ivanka doesn’t belong. They all seem to be CEO’s or high executives of tech companies.
This hire seems to be a reaction to leftist groups and marketing people. Because of that, I say good job!
