A quick look at past keynote speakers does suggest Ivanka doesn’t belong. They all seem to be CEO’s or high executives of tech companies.
This hire seems to be a reaction to leftist groups and marketing people. Because of that, I say good job!
Elaine Chow was a keynote speaker at CES last year. Looking at her bio I see a lot of business experience but I don’t think she’s any kind of tech expert. I’m pretty sure a thorough examination of past speakers would include several government types with little or no tech expertise. The feds have a lot of clout over decisions that affect the tech sector and trade shows often include politicians as speakers.
