House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) laid out timing for the introduction of a resolution that will appoint House impeachment managers and transmit the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate for the first time.
Pelosi has withheld the articles from the Senate since House Democrats impeached Trump on Dec. 18, 2019, angering many conservatives.
In a letter to House Democrats on Jan. 10, Pelosi informed them that shed told House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) to introduce the resolution next week.
I have asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the Floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit articles of impeachment to the Senate, she said.
Managers will present the Houses case against Trump to the Senate, which hears impeachment cases. Trump was impeached for obstruction of Congress and abuse of office.

Three weeks later “I only said it COULD be next week.”
When will the Resolution to Send All Dems in the House to the Guillotine Be Introduced?
Can’t believe i spelled Guillotine right on the first shot :)
Eff that crap. The Senate needs to do what they said they would do come Monday and put this on the track to being finished.
Anyone who would wait and take that nasty bitch at her word needs to be removed for dereliction of duty, IMO.
Pay no attention to that woman behind the curtain.
BTW, who’s behind the push for interracial marriage on all media?
She needs another resolution? She seems to be admitting that the existing resolution is insufficient.
She got the idea to delay the proceedings off a TV news appearance by Watergated White House Counsel John Dean, fer chrissakes. This tells the world that they absolutely have no plan, are winging it day by day hoping for a miracle, watching the “Age of Aquarius” world that the 1960’s built turn to sewage.
My poor popcorn popper is wheezing and giving off smoke.
“Could” is the inoperative word
It goes this Sunday January 12th or it does not go at all!
