Following through with this: If a County Sheriff deputizes every citizen in his county to get around these new stupid laws will these new deputies be allowed to carry in the Capital?
This seems like an attempt at provocation during the gun rights rally that is supposed to take place January 20 at the capitol.
Did they exempt their own personal arms, police and their body guards?
And not one damn “threeper” or so-called “oath keeper” has the testicular fortitude to show up armed to rally against the shit. Bet.
they didn’t ban guns. They banned CITIZENS with guns.
The move wasn’t to protect “the public”. They want to disarm the public and leave them to the criminals. It was to to protect tyrants like themselves.

Because zero of the public have been killed by people shooting guns in the capital, so clearly banning them will improve that number.
I expect people to start rising from the dead now.
Meanwhile, in the real world, I predict more car break-ins by criminals who know that the people walking into the government buildings had to leave their guns in their cars.

Considering 90% of the state is armed and angry, this might seem to be a prudent move. BUT. in a CWII situation, it won’t help very much.
What are they afraid of?
