Correct me if I am wrong here. I remember back say 20 years ago there were organizations that would be called oversight groups/watchdogs for this kind of stuff. Where are they? Are they now political slush fund funnels? I am sure there are hundreds of funds like this but when does it become a matter of national security to one, go after them and shut them down and prosecute those that use them. I swear I feel like we tax payers are nothing more that fruit to be squeezed for juice when the political elite need something. Maybe its a form of the Matrix....we are all cooper tops...8)

I remember that as well, but about 30 years ago, the Clintons were in charge. I would bet that the graft and kickbacks got kicked into high gear ala the Clinton Foundation and their Global initiative.

I also know a guy who used to work for USAID. LOTS of taxpayer dollars flow through that organization to other countries with very little accountability.
