It remains to be seen how this will all play out.
But a good portion of the country is feeling some animosity towards the “elites”. The jet set is worried about climate change? Celebrities bribe colleges to accept their kids? They lie and commit crimes with no consequences? Some people are getting fed up.
I’m hoping that documents will be declassified, coup plotters will be indicted, and rules will be changed for media. This could (possibly) really snowball as those who are fed up already are inundated with really awful proof of just how dirty the “elites” really are.
falsehood is a politically correct term for “lying”...
don’t fall for looney leftist speech...
Dishonesty is a rejection of reality in the form of faking reality. Reality is interconnected and is a unity. When one starts to reject part of reality, the rejection will escalate and spread. But one cannot escape reality in the long run. Sooner or later one will be punished by reality.
I read VDH’s article a few days ago. I thought it was fairly explosive in that it named so many names. What I do not understand is a.) why no one has been arrested in connection with the attempted coup; b.) why none of the people named in the article sued VDH for libel; and c.) why hasn’t VDH committed arkancide yet?

No, that is the wrong interpretation.
They knew it was false; in fact, Hillary paid for this false information to be generated. The dossier was created to cause doubt among Republicans about their candidate, using the old concern about the USSR as its basis. Hillary et al. never were concerned about the USSR--on the contrary, they always mocked those who were. But when it was a matter of finding something with which to discredit the Republican candidate, they decided that bringing up fake collusion with the USSR (now Russia) was the way to go. Especially since using fake sexual assault charges against a man who has been in public life for decades probably wasn't going to work.
Treachery and slander do get their payday. Maybe not as quickly as we would prefer, but always with certainty.
