Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delivered some bad news to Speaker Pelosi from the floor of the upper-chamber:
…”There will be no haggling with the House over Senate procedure. We will not cede our authority to try this impeachment. The House Democrats’ turn is over. The Senate has made its decision.”…

‘‘I fully expect the parties will raise questions about witnesses at the appropriate time. I would remind my friends on the other side: I strongly suspect that not all the potential witnesses would be people the Democrats are eager to hear from.

My gut tells me Pelosi will pull the articles, send it back to Schiff and Nads to go after new witnesses.

Pelosi, Schiff and the IG will go to jail if they present the AOI. They refuse to turn over the transcript of IG Atkinson. The fake whistleblower was going along with the plan but could never hold up in court. Too many things going on and Dems love the confusion. Haven’t heard about Bidens or Ujrane in two weeks. Rudy has disappeared. Dems are now turning on each other. Oh my!
She THINKS she has the same power as the President. SHE DOES NOT. She is only elected by the rich, vacuous Libs in Marin County, California. PDJT was elected by THE WHOLE COUNTRY.
That is how the framers viewed it. That is why senate elections are not every two years. Our constitution is remarkable. A bunch of rabble rousers turned a piece of land into the greatest power on earth.

She really doesn’t want to control the rules of the senate regarding impeachment there. She just wants “Trump Impeached” to be the historical headline. And she does not want “Trump Acquitted” in those same history books.
