Yes they do. Everyone responds differently. She was in great shape and had a great amount of fight in her. That makes a ton of difference.
The BIG difference is she had frequent check ups. My wife has it and they only found it because of regular blood panels tested for a rare heart condition. Otherwise it would have been years before it showed up.
Most Americans are not under such close screening.
I have noticed that the politically well connected and powerful, not always the same, have much better outcomes in their treatment.
