The death rate from cancer in the US declined by 29% from 1991 to 2017, including a 2.2% drop from 2016 to 2017, the largest single-year drop ever recorded, according to annual statistics reporting from the American Cancer Society. The decline in deaths from lung cancer drove the record drop. Deaths fell from about 3% per year from 2008 - 2013 to 5% from 2013 - 2017 in men and from 2% to almost 4% in women. However, lung cancer is still the leading cause of cancer death.

HEADLINE: TRUMP CAUSES INCREASE IN HEART DISEASE
(as fewer people die from cancer, you gotta die from something!)
This will be spun negatively against Trump.
Oppressive cigarette taxes under Trump cause people to give up hobby they enjoy
Hmmm, just as people are learning that the best way to fight cancer is to stop eating carbohydrates, as they become glucose, which feeds cancer cells.
Coincidence...possibly not, according to some early studies.
1. lung cancer is not the leading cause. Lung cancer is the result of smoking and other factors. The knife does not kill. The person pointing the knife at you kills.
In reality, the smoker commit slow suicide.
2. Check out the relationship between deregulation, faster time to market at cheaper prices for cancer drugs and deaths from cancer.
3. Trump’s Healthcare Replacement of Obamacare seems to be JOBS and deregulation. It is working.
Immunotherapy is revolutionizing cancer treatment.
Yes - but that means other causes of death have increased.
A couple decades ago I recall reading that if no one died from cancer, the average age of death would only go up about five years.
Cardio-vascular disease and stroke would replace most of the cancer deaths.
I think the average age of death is close to 80 in the USA.
Problem - very few people experience health improvement after age 80.
Must’ve been due to vaping.
I read this claim more and more often.
I do not know if that is true or false.
However...
If the human body is undernourished, it pretty much tries to convert EVERYTHING we eat into glucose - including proteins and fats.
My point - it is hard to believe that the human body can selectively “decide” how much glucose it “needs” for good health if cancer cells are present.
“Problem - very few people experience health improvement after age 80.”
I would propose that very few people experience health improvement after age 70. The human body’s musculo-skeletal warranty expires at age 45 and everything else starts to decline after that too. That’s the way we are designed.
People are learning about naturopathic treatments. Cut sugar, nutrify, and oxygenate your body.
My oncologist says this is a myth.
But in an indirect way there is a smidgen of truth. Eating carbs causes weight gain. There is a small increase in the occurrence of cancer from obesity
Immunotherapy is revolutionizing cancer treatment.

Something mildly ironic that Freeper “dead” is reporting this!
“My oncologist says this is a myth.”
Time will tell. Studies are ongoing, so ruling it out seems a bit closed-minded, especially considering the alternative.
Cancer treatments have not changed this drastically. Neither have chemical exposure factors. What has changed?
Answer: the rise of the high fat, low carb diet.
Another credit-stealing scam by Mike Bloomberg exposed!
I am praying that is so. My husband was diagnosed with 3b LC in October. Quit smoking 15 yrs ago. Just finished radiation and chemo. Starts immunotherapy in February. It is truly a life changing event.
