It’s not about Lindsey. It’s about creating the impression that SC is going blue, and even unseating a senior Senator and Trump supporter. Is he a Trump supporter? Sometimes. Not always. Irrelevant. That’s how they’ll spin it, months in advance of the actual election, based on fundraising, some fake poll or other, or something that someone says on twitter that makes the MSM. The narrative goes forward! I care about defeating all their narratives. They’ll just grow new ones, but they must be defeated early and often.
