Which cultural site specifically was targeted?
And explain how this site is strictly a cultural site without military (including logistical, because wars which ignore logistics are already lost) significance.

I don’t know what he means when he refers to sites important to Iranian culture. He could be referring to TV stations for all I know and a plan to take them all out with a devastating cyber attack. I’m good with that. On the other hand, if he’s referring to bombing ancient sites, that’s wrong.
You do realize that Muslims don’t give whit about “cultural sites” and they will use “cultural sites” as places to hide military weapons and activities, don’t you???
Trump has no intention of attacking cultural sites that have no economic or military value. Trump is just making sure the mullahs know everything, including them is on the table. This is Trump at his best. The Iranians get the message, the hell with what Linda, the Dems, UN or nattering press think.
I read Trump could do it if he got a waiver. But I don’t remember reading who he needed to get the waiver from? Anybody?

Graham does not get that if Trump said he was going to leave them alone, that’s where they’d rally.

Iran is easily able to out-maneuver and out-think the usual, predictable, self-conscious posturing statements and strategies that are partly aimed at posterity’s opinion of the posturer and that have been the hallmark of the Establishment.
A good dose of “This guy is a maniac! We better get serious and make real not sham concessions! We can’t outsmart the Great Satan anymore, it’s no longer predictable!!!!”

While I agree with Graham, he should not have made this public statement.
By openly threatening to attack a cultural site, but having no intention of doing so, forces Iran to spread resources out further; to defend fake sites.
