I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this USMC officer is not going to be too happy about having his correspondence broadcast to the entire world. Either someone is in deep kimchi, or- the general is looking with great interest at real estate for sale around the greater Fort Leavenworth area in Kansas, for his family to live in, over the foreseeable future.

Somebody explain how this even makes sense. How does flying helicopters at night prevent misunderstanding of what the helicopters are carrying and where they are carrying it?

Trump has already repeatedly stated he wants as many troops out of the region as possible and it has always been the timing for this in question.

So whether it is real or not, leaked intentionally or not, it is of no consequence. As long as they are guessing what Trumps next move is he has the upper hand.

But I would not be surprised to see a Syria type arrangement in Iraq in the not too distant future.
