A top Iranian general has warned that Iran will target the US military to avenge the assassination of the leading military commander Qassem Soleimani last week.
In a CNN interview that aired Sunday, Maj. Gen. Hossein Dehghan — who advises Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — said that Iran's response would "for sure will be military and against military sites."
He also suggested that Iran's response would come not from the array of Iranian proxy forces spread throughout the Middle East but from the Iranian military itself.
"It might be argued that there could be proxy operations," he said. "We can say America, Mr. Trump, has taken action directly against us — so we take direct action against America."

He says this as if US military personnel are not already being targeted even if Soleimani were alive.

I doubt it. Direct attacks would just validate what POTUS did. I suspect Iran will just nuke up and try to play to the Euro weenies. Much harder to do that if you openly attacking the US military or bombing discos in Europe.

Donald Trump has learned from others mistakes. George W. Bush’s idea of nation building was good in concept but it just didn’t work with Iraq.
Trump isn’t going to try nation building in Iran. He’s going to blow things up and kill bad guys, then watch Iranians string up the Mullahs themselves.

I hope we have been tracking their DE subs and know where they are.
That’s my biggest concern.
They are difficult to track.
If Iran strikes out we need to sink every one of those subs immediately. They pose a huge danger to our carriers and other ships.
A torpedoed carrier would be a disaster.
