To: Drew68; where's_the_Outrage?

I didn’t know that it could be so hard if you were married to a citizen.

My son is a citizen, but his wife is Canadian. They are not planning to move to USA now, both have jobs. But I was wondering if they would have trouble if they wanted to retire here. He works in the USA, but travels back and forth to Canada each day.

Are some countries harder than others for sponsorship?

“I didn’t know that it could be so hard if you were married to a citizen.”

As I said in my initial post: “There needs to be a trusted sponsor option. “

There is no expedited option for those trying to things legally, they put you in the queue with all the illegals. When I started USCIS was saying 5 months, we are now at 13 months because of the border invasion.

It is harder than it should be. My son’s fiancé is Canadian. He has been working on getting her marriage visa straight for a year and a half now.
