The rings pictured above are not the same rings. There are distinct differences in the settings. That does not mean that the bastard did not have multiple rings of similar design that he wore on different occasions because he like the style, but it is obvious that those are different red stone rings. The one on the left photo is a bezel set cabochon stone while the one on the right is a prong set cabochon. There are distinct differences in the shanks of both rings. Frankly, these photos are not dispositive identification of Soleimani that I am absolutely convinced that they have proof he is dead. Do I believe they killed him? Yeah, but proof through photos of the bodies? Not from this photo of a disconnected hand wearing a generic red ring. As a male ring wearer, I know that men do not tend to change the rings they wear. At least I don’t.

It’s not the same ring. The patterning on the setting is different. I think the idea of using a ring to identify a body for which there must be a ton of DNA and fingerprint evidence is silly anyway. More than likely intended to cause conspiracy theories, like maybe that this architect of chaos is actually being interrogated in U.S. custody. It would be nice, but I’m thinking this terrorist is deader than most doornails.
