If the President has shown anything it's his belief that all alliances are transactional. As soon as they have outlived their usefulness to us then he has no problems terminating them. Under our long overdue policy of "America First" there can be no other way. So the first question I would ask is if the Kurds want us to stay then what's in it for us?
As I said, I prefer to see how this plays out than to get involved in arguments with FRs armchair general brigade.
