Play Video Secretary of State Mike Pompeo plans to appear on all of the major Sunday morning television shows as he continues to defend President Trump's decision to kill Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia leader Mahdi al Muhandis.
"Pompeo scheduled to be on six (6) Sunday morning TV shows tomorrow as he continues to defend Trump’s decision to take out Iran’s Souleimani," tweeted Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs.
Speaking with Fox News's Sean Hannity, Pompeo, 56, suggested that European nations have not been as "helpful" as the State Department would like.
“I spent the last day and a half, two days, talking to partners in the region, sharing with them what we were doing, why we were doing it, seeking their assistance, they’ve all been fantastic," said Pompeo. "Frankly, the Europeans haven’t been as helpful as I wish that they could be."
