The Democrats Whine: "How can we surrender when The Donald keeps WINNING?"

Or, as someone else pointed out, if President Trump keeps this up, Omoeba won't have anyone else left to bow to.

It’s a wonder Democrats can even walk as many times as they’ve shot themselves in the feet.

Democrat strategy for getting along has always been capitulation. Obama’s Iran deal gave them basically everything they wanted, and nothing for us. The most important thing for them is not getting terrorists and mass murderers to hate you. Apologize instead for noticing too much what they’re doing. Even make back door deals to keep them happy. Pretend that they’re not killing people around the world with their sponsoring of terrorism.

I’d say an uncharitable explanation is far more likely: they’re on Iran’s payroll.

Gen. Soleimani was a brutal terrorist

No.

He was an enemy soldier, a commander of an irregular army at war with the United States.

A hallmark of progressivism is the negative unintended consequences they continually suffer from, from their actions and words. Another is the cognitive dissonance they are often afflicted with. Last is their continuous lying and hypocrisy.

If this is not mental disorder, what is?

This is our U.S. Congress today.

——tactics that would never occur to any Democrat.-——

Tactically, the devastating attack on a vehicle carrying the Quds leadership in Iraq was the result of brilliant planning, patience and execution. Barely mentioned is the revealed fact that General Solemani was enroute to the Baghdad airport from Lebanon.

The attack staged a drone in position and then loitered in place until the general deplaned, loaded in the vehicle and departed the airport. Simple enough, but the implication of the knowledge about the general’s travel, the Iraqi vehicle travel plans and the logistics of the drone are huge.

An superficial analysis should strike mortal fear into all Iranian leaders in Iraq and all Iraqi leaders dealing with Iranians. President shouted to them loudly “I know where you are and what you are doing” “I can kill you”

Best comment so far is that the Dems will add the assassination of this terrorist to their next round of impeachments against President Trump. And still not forward it to the senate.

On the plus side, they will bring forward Ilhan Omar, Linda Sarsour, and CAIR forward to testify how the dead guy was such a good man, and forbid the Republicans from asking any questions at all. Or making statements afterwards.

Over the past few days I’ve been thinking that the best analogy would be imagining the GOP leadership in 1943 complaining loudly about how FDR didn’t consult them first before ordering the attack on Gen. Yamamoto’s plane resulting in his death, and a WaPo headline the next day, “Airstrike in South Pacific kills Japan’s most revered military leader, Isoroku Yamamoto, Japanese state radio reports.” (Hint: you can’t imagine it.)

I’ve ALWAYS wondered why it’s better to have huge armies in the field slaughtering each other than to take out rogue leaders who initiate the slaughter.

Would it have been bad to take out the Japanese military leadership in 1937 when their intentions were clear?

And of course, killing Hitler is cliche.

The true war mongers in the western democracies who are those who are squeamish about killing the true war mongers in the world.

Events such as these are helpful, as they provide a window into dems’ future behavior in the event we ever have to fight another war of national survival.

it might risk “escalating” tensions with Iran.

Even if does increase the risk, the ratio of benefit to risk is acceptable and so the well formedness criterion for acting is met

They are distressed over American victories they see as Republican victories. If Obama had okayed the operation from a golf course, the Left would be orgasming over it for the next ninety days and you would be seeing political slogans like ‘X alive and Y dead’.

The are not “conflicted”.

They hate the United States.

They hate the existence of a free United States.

Period.

No conflict.

The Democrats are devastated!

Trump is more popular than ever! He piles success on top of success! The economy is booming! Prosperity is unprecedented! His rallies attract thousands of people! TRUMP wins! Wins! WINS! America is great again!

Nothing could devastate the Democrats more!

The last thing they want is success for America--especially under the leadership of President Donald Trump!

option in every circumstance is between unilateral surrender or total war.

This binary fallacy is indemic in our college educated Americans.
It exists not just in foreign policy, but in domestic also.

It exists not just in politics, but in business and HITECH also (Intentional use of the the term HITECH, which is the name of a law that gave many billions to Corporatist welfare with a binary view of techology.)

Electricians have a single-pull double-throw switch and a double-pull double-throw switch. There are many computer and high tech applications where those concepts could be applied. But many of our best and brightest can only conceive of on and off, only a single-pull single-throw operation in hi tech.
