We should pay some of the assets in Iran to randomly place markers with the gps coordinates inscribed on the top in areas of interest in Iran. Mix in a few old radiation detectors with an inscription of “do not disturb”. A few dosimetry badges would also be a cool touch.

The dollar’s position as world reserve currency depends on Saudi Arabia’s requirement that it be paid in dollars for oil.
If the Saudi’s stop requiring dollars, the dollar is probably no longer the world reserve currency.
The dollar’s reserve currency status funds the US deficit.
That is why no administration can allow Iraq to become another Lebanon.
another Lebanon......I’m only telling this from the mouth of a Pakistani businessman I know: Lebanon was the playground of the Mid East rich and the European rich. The Muslims from Dubai knew they had no skiiing an hour from the beaches, good weather and educated people in Lebanon (Danny Thomas was a Lebanese), so they fomented a war there and eventually got the Goat Humpers and other rich swags to vacation in Dubai. Mission accomplished.
