Tim Naftali is a Nixon-hater who tried give the Richard Nixon Presidential Library a thoroughly anti-Nixon slant. Naftali took over when the formerly private Nixon Library joined the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA) Presidential Library system in order to get Nixon's presidential papers, which by law belong to the Federal Government. For the Nixon Foundation, which formerly ran the library and still controls part of it, joinng NARA proved to be a Faustian bargain.

As soon as he took charge of the library, Naftali replaced the Watergate display, which provided a balanced account of the scandal, with a gallery full of garish displays that portray President Nixon in the worst possible light imaginable. He invited Nixon's enemies such as John Dean and George McGovern to give presentations. When McGovern spoke, he had his staffers wear "McGovern for president" buttons.

Naftali was thoroughly hated by members of the Foundation and especially by the volunteer docents, who rejoiced when he left in 2011.

Remember when Democrats LOVED to visit Russia? (and welcomed Russian interference in our elections?)

Next up on CNN, Nixon Library gardener has thoughts on Trump!

He would more likely appear on Fox. CNN wouldn't like his thoughts.

I certainly hope Trump attends Victory Day, and I hope that Putin is invited to a State Dinner in 2020 as well. Only good can come of repairing the damage that the left has done to our relationship with Russia.

Blaming Nixon is wrong, he opened a door to China, it was good old Jimmmuhh that tore that door off it’s hinges before he moved on to Iran.

Substantiation from Wikipedia of what you wrote.
From 2007 to 2011, he directed the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. He was appointed when control of the Library was transferred from the Richard Nixon Foundation to the National Archives and Records Administration.[12][13] His biggest task at the library was to present a more objective and unbiased picture of the Watergate scandal—a task completed in March 2011, when the Library's new Watergate gallery opened and received extensive news coverage.[13] Naftali left the Nixon Library later that year.[14]

Naftali is openly gay.[15][16]

His biggest task at the library was to present a more objective and unbiased picture of the Watergate scandal—a task completed in March 2011,

The old Watergate exhibit was not only objective but it took note of the fact that while the scandal was running its course, President Nixon continued to achieve successes that included saving Israel, staring down the Soviets and making a historic visit to Egypt. The new Watergate exhibit, which is anything but objective and unbiased, views Watergate through the eyes of a rabid Nixon-hater.

You can read more about Naftali on this site by typing "Nixon Library" into the search bar.

“The question is whether our president is representing U.S. national interests or representing his own interests,” Naftali said.

This is just too easy...President Trump’s interests ARE the national interests; more so than any president since Ronald Reagan.

He didn’t betray anyone in Vietnam. Actually, if anything, he came up with a plan to ensure the South Vietnamese could still fight off the enemy and arguably win against North Vietnam. If ANYONE betrayed our troops left in Vietnam, it was the Democrats who ousted him. Again, don’t believe me, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hqYGHZCJwk
