Correct.

I don’t like “hate crime” laws, largely because assault is assault and murder is murder, regardless of motive.

But it’s clear who it is OK to hate.

I’ve been noticing increasing cracks in the Jewish community regarding Democrats. The progress is too slow, largely because most American Jewish people haven’t a clue what is going on due to their choice of media. This story won’t be covered by the NYT; ergo, it didn’t happen in their world.

DEmocrats attacking Republican-leaning voters. Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jews tend to vote Republican in federal elections.

Why do the Jews tolerate it?
Because there is no "the Jews." There are many groups of Jews. Most Jews in America have little to nothing to do with Judaism. They dob't belong to even a liberal congregation, or go a half-dozen times a year. They look at Ultra-Orthodox Jews as another religion, or worse, one that would control them
