So, nbc says "could", "might", "possibly", chance that"..... Out of fear of "maybe" not getting re-(s)elected? I'd feel better if it was for the correct reason. And, does one dem vote equal 3 "possible" defections by the gopE. That being mittens, mur-cow-skee and suzie Q collins?

He should back Trump and then retire making way for a decent human being. Even Jeff Sessions would be better than Jones

Jones is almost guaranteed to get beaten in the next election so it’s a hail Mary pass to try and stay in office. He knows that if he votes against Trump it’s a 99% chance he’ll lose the election, if he votes for Trump it’s a 98% chance.

Since he’s not going to get re-elected, he’s likely to vote with the democrats against Trump. Nothing to lose, nothing to gain by favoring Trump.

I read last night that there are 5 possible Dem votes to acquit, and that may be why Nancy doesn’t want to go forward. Her plan is to keep trying to add new charges.

It’s a cynical ploy to keep his seat. If he wins, he will become the most liberal member of the Senate. He’ll suddenly be Trumps biggest detractor.

COULD HAPPEN----

IN NJ Dem Jeff Von Drew's switch to Republican DUE TO IMPEACHMENT
lurks the promise that he will bring over maybe two more Dems with him.

If Dems cant win NJ, they are cooked.

===================================

House Dems that won (w/ voter fraud) in Trump districts are facing voter discontent.......a good harbinger of things to come.

Same happy talk sunshine pumping was said in the House. In the end only 2 Dems voted with the GOP. The rep that switched parties and the rep from Minnesota. I expect the same will happen in the Senate.

Trump has the Bush League globalist GOPe hoping he’ll take the bait and request trial in the Senate. Bear in mind the GOPe is keeping the Senate in session to prevent the President from making recess appointments. The GOPe has allowed ZERO recess appointments since Trump was inaugurated. There is no reason to believe they will support Trump in this impeachment.

It costs the dem party nothing with everything to gain.

Does this bozo think we’re stupid? Rhetorical question.

Jones is a goner, no matter how he votes on impeachment. The only thing that could save him is Roy Moore as his opponent.
Alabamians do not have short memories and Roy Moore as a proven losing contender is one of them. They need to leave him on the shelf as we need the seat back

Jones must know that he’ll be leaving the Senate in January 2121 regardless of how he votes.In order for him to be admitted to The Swamp after his departure he’s gonna have to vote “correctly”.That means voting with Chuck U.
