Full title: NYPD officer violently attacked while 'partner' politely asks criminal to stop. Suspect released with no bail.

BROOKLYN, NY Its open season on cops in New York City, and an incident this past Thursday shows that criminals no longer care about assaulting them, especially since in the state of New York, assaulting a police officer is not considered a serious enough crime to warrant cash bail.
In downtown Brooklyn, 40-year-old Steven Haynes apparently sucker punched the unsuspecting officer for no reason. The officer fell to the ground, at which point Haynes continued punching the officer in the face.
More disturbing is the reaction, or lack thereof, of the officers partner. The video, which was obtained from the partners body cam showed the whole incident, and shows that the partner, who was a female, did little to assist the officer who was assaulted.
While the suspect is on top of the officer, the partner calls for backup but other than a few weak strikes with an expandable baton, does nothing.
Listen
listen, get off of him! Get off of him! she says as she grabs the back of his jacket. Alright sir get off. Mister
mister come on.

At some point REALITY imposes.
Disgusting and utterly foreseeable.
I saw that yesterday. I wondered if anyone would dare to comment on it. I saw the two guys fighting. The male policeman was held in a lock. Then I heard this woman’s voice, it sounded like a voice with a Haitian accent.
She may as well had been hitting the man with a slice of bread, her baton taps did not matter.
I’m thinking; don’t women go through the same martial arts training as the men? Why doesn’t she tear into him?
This does not do the idea of ‘diversity’ any favors.
Some people, both men and women are too shy, too physically inhibited to be an effective cop.
If I was the cop getting beat up, the first thing I would do when backup finally came and helped me, is to smack the every living crap out of my worthless partner with a billy club.
Ah yes. This is to whom we are expected to entrust our safety after we are disarmed.
This is why I’d rather have a canine as my partner.
Pretty sure if she had hit him very hard they would have arrested her instead, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.
I wondered who that was tapping him on the back - sure glad she didn’t hurt the thug. I’m betting they won’t be partners after this.

I still remember when women were first made cops other than meter maids. The belief was the criminals would not hurt a woman.
Within a few weeks, one of the first woman cops was shot dead.
All I can think of is they have been brow-beaten by DeBalsio and the SJW crowd with the treat of lawsuit and the specter of constant filming, that they are in constant fear of their careers, freedom, and lives. This toxic stew has made their lives a living hell, the can't be law enforcement officers anymore. Pray for the NYPD, IMMIC they have a high suicide rate, I cannot fathom the pressures they are under.....
The women go through the same training, but they don’t have the same power and strength as men to do any damage to a man. 80+% of women could not seriously hurt a man, even with a full on punch to the face.
You can bet that the gangs are watching this foolishness. And making their plans...

I disagree with the author of this piece. The female cop showed the kind of reasonable restraint that cops need to have. She remained calm. She called for backup. Two other cops arrived almost instantly. remember, this is a NYC street where there are cops everywhere.
This was most likely a mental health issue, and they didn’t want to just execute the guy for being crazy. I’ve been through security training where we reviewed videos of complicated situations, like this one. I’ve seen situations where someone who is crazy or on drugs may take 6 big men to restrain. Better to call for backup first before jumping in.

Most of the law enforcement in the United States would not have passed through the Police Academies when I was growing up.
They did not require degrees.
They did require people who (if bit by a dog) could pull the dog off, shake it, and then subdue it without shooting it. Usually voice was enough after the shaking. Exceptions were made for rabies.
I do not recall meter readers or mail carriers shooting dogs either.
We have fallen a long way.
She was totally worthless.
” Alright sir get off. Mister ...mister come on.”
Maybe she knew the perp....cuz that’s what my gut is telling me...
BS. If the female was on the ground and her male partner did nothing except call for ‘back-up’, I doubt he’d have a job tomorrow.
