it’s called Munchausen by Proxy if I am not mistaken. It is a very serious mental disorder because suffers will eventually kill a loved one. This is as sure as the Sun rises.

Except they aren’t. Well, at least for older kids that are given hormones. Very little initial analysis - in many cases the hormones are given on the first visit with the kid just saying they think they are the opposite sex.
Little to no follow up by the doctor.
This is nonsense. If the children believe they are transgendered, immediate hormone therapy to prepare for surgery is indicated. After the surgery they can regret their decision and consider suicide. Voila! Government paid mental health services will be required for the rest of their lives. Job protection for mental health folks. If they aren’t severely sick, make them severely sick and we will all have jobs forever!
Evil walks this land in plain sight.

Ten years ago, I never would have dreamed such an Urgent Inquiry would even be necessary. I would have expected the parents to refuse cooperation.

There is a particularly twisted, uncivil, immoral, and cruel aspect of this that in my mind, sets it apart from much of the other insanity we see in today’s world.
This is being perpetrated on children at all ages, down to five years old (that I am aware of) Kids at that age...what do they know about sex, gender identity, or any other damn aspect of it. Catering to their confusion by these unspeakable parents is nearly beyond comprehension by me.
These children are going to be damaged for life. They will never have a normal life because of these things done to them, and not only will it not be normal, they will be tortured and miserable. God, this makes me sick.
It is one thing if a child actually is born with characteristics of both sexes and genitalia that is imperfect. That is different. What they are doing with the psyches of these young children is reprehensible and even sadistic, done to validate the outlook of the parents.
People will someday look back in horror and disgust at this.
Greta Thunberg is, as you say, being used by her parents and the Left. That she is a willing and enthusiastic participant makes here a very painful example. However, she has vigorously injected herself into this political situation with encouragement by the Left so they can attempt to shield their political stances from criticism.
It won’t work, and she will be necessary collateral damage for the Left.

We have a girl at school whose mother appears to be doing this. It’s a tricky thing. It’s sick.
I think the gender thing is similar. It is definitely parent based. How the h*’ll it is allowed and now seemingly encouraged defies all rational thought. Let the kid at least turn 18, but don’t allow the parents to make this life altering decision. Even my bleeding heart liberal mom thinks it is not right.
