In a departure from the Democratic Party candidate preoccupation of offering up ever bigger banquets of free stuff to voters, Joe Biden has said something that sticks out.
He'd offer a Supreme Court spot to former President Barack Obama, "if he'd take it."
Here's a report from the Epoch Times:
Former Vice President Joe Biden said that he would nominate former President Barack Obama to the Supreme Court if he won the presidency, according to several reports.
“Biden asked here in Washington, Iowa, if he would ever nominate former President Obama to serve on the Supreme Court. ‘If he’d take it, yes,’” wrote Wall Street Journal reporter Ken Thomas on Twitter.
New York Times reporter Thomas Kaplan confirmed the former vice president’s “If he’d take it, yes,” statement.
That's a pander.
It not only comes off as a bid to suck up to Obama by offering him this pretty bauble as an incentive to get an endorsement, it also would be pretty useful for Old Joe politically, not having the Obama political machine to worry about if he makes it to the White House, what with Obama being figuratively kicked upstairs to some non-intersecting branch of government. Sure, the question was thrown at Biden, Biden didn't offer it up unsolicited. But Biden was ready with his answer when the question came, which rather looks like he'd thought about the matter earlier and figured this would be a way to win new votes on the left. Given how the media operates these days, it's also possible the question was planted.

Why not? After all, Obama is “the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy.”
You say “old white man” like that’s a bad thing.
I doubt Obama would want his lack of intelligence spotlighted. It would be too risky. He picked Biden to appear smarter this wouldnt help Democrats but would motivate Conservatives. Great idea Joe.
Joe is just trying to take focus off Hunter. He probably wanted to save this for later.
Yet another reason to vote Republican.
You say old white man like thats a bad thing.
It is not a really great selling point to those with a leftist social justice worldview.
That’s a Quid Pro Joe if I ever heard one!
Just another reason he’ll never be president.
Young daughter? Isn’t Joe back on to young black boys rubbing his legs?
I think Joe’s mouth was aiming a little higher than the shoes... he’ll be tasting dog for the rest of the week
Old Joe, still trying to suck up. Obama dissed him on the nomination and is helping eWarren. Biden feels lonely, and overlooked. So this is his “hey Barack Baby, look at me” attempt. He’s so pathetic.
Desperation
or just the same senile attention whoring ???
In the old days, candidates who were such ‘damaged goods’ just quit.
.
Thanks for the help. For once I tried to keep my posts classy but Creepy Joe doesn’t deserve it.
Joe has to get around. Not limit his creepiness. He has to be the next president of all the American people, not just of some.
