No More Apologies For Africa

On September 23, 2019, President Trump delivered an unprecedented speech before the United Nations General Assembly on religious freedom. It was a watershed moment for his presidency.  He said words never spoken by a United States president on the world stage:

“Today, with one clear voice, the United States of America calls upon the nations of the world to end religious persecution….

To stop the crimes against people of faith, release prisoners of conscience, repeal laws restricting freedom of religion and belief, protect the vulnerable, the defenseless, and the oppressed, America stands with believers in every country who ask only for the freedom to live according to the faith that is within their own hearts.”

As the world’s leader, these words from the U.S. president have meaning.  They have meaning for worshippers around the world who have hope that the United States means what it says and will put fire to the wood of oppression that burdens too many people of faith.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Nigerians in Africa are being massacred by the government-backed Fulani, a group not heard of by many Americans, a group far more expansive and more ruthless than ISIS-related Boko Haram.  The New War Against Africa’s Christians recently detailed this movement in Nigeria.  The writer begins the article with a chilling clarion call:  “A slow-motion war is under way in Africa’s most populous country.  It’s a massacre of Christians, massive in scale and horrific brutality.  And the world has hardly noticed.”

This is a fresh reminder of the persecution that exists around the world that stands against religious freedom and that must be confronted less it metastasize beyond human control.

The lasting stain on the Clinton presidency was its inaction against genocide in Rwanda.  The stain was so bright that President Clinton rightly apologized on March 25, 1998 four years after the genocide ended.  However, apologies don’t stop genocide; apologies don’t bring back the lives that were lost.

Earlier this year, the United States announced its withdrawal of 25% of the commandos stationed in Africa specially trained to respond West Africa’s insurgency problems.  Terrorism is not the priority as the U.S. focuses on the threats from China and Russia.  Perhaps our State Department prefers Nigeria partner with Russia instead?  In October of this year, Nigeria deepened its relationship with Russia (who by the way cares little for religious freedom).  Nigeria signed agreements with Russia for military cooperation and economic development to include the construction of a nuclear power plant.    Is this not a threat to U.S. interests?

As the United States withdraws from Africa, and Nigeria in particular, she must have a steady hand and a watchful eye.  The massacre occurring right now at Christmas threatens the import of President Trump’s words delivered before the United Nations.  Will we stand with people of faith in Nigeria or will we apologize again for doing nothing?

Sacrificing blood and money without stating the only workable solution, eradicating all Muslims, is a nonstarter. No more pussyfooting around.

At this place in time the Freepers who post on the issues of the day will say, “What happens in Afriganistan, Vietnam, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Kurdistan, Moslem Africa, is none of our business. Stay away and let them self destruct. Economic sanctions yes. Boots on the ground no. What I would like is the neutron bomb to wipe out the enemies of freedom. Of course that would mean 90% of Earth’s population. And then when that failed I would say like that little old lady on SNL “never mind” The USA as the world’s policeman is a Utopian ideal which has proven to be a failure. Build a border wall and protect the USA. The rest of the Planet is seriously in trouble. Long live Brexit. In some areas there is hope.

And then we have those Freepers who effectively say that they dont.need no stinkong constitution and that that ancient Idea of requiring wars be delared by Congress should just be ignored because trying to amend it would not get the result they want.

Checkmate.

Interesting.

Could you outline a plan that could come within 100 miles of doing what you want?

Not Checkmate. Most Freepers are for the US Constitution. And you yourself have not bothered to post a practical solution to the problems of Islam and or Communism. As I have said...economic sanctions and not boots on the ground. Build the wall. Long live Brexit.

Stand with people of faith in Nigeria. Trump should send SOF and put sanctions in place.

Drop a bomb on that black cube (the Kaaba(?)) in Mecca — then get some popcorn and watch the Muzzies self-destruct.

Russia may be slammed for not “ supporting freedom of religion” but they sure as hell wont tolerate an oppressive islamic theocracy in Nigeria anymore than they will let it happen in Syria, just wish the old Cold Warriors would let Trump work with Putin to make changes in Iran,

If we wont do the job, let them. Happy hunting, comrades,

It would be difficult, so Christians in Africa will continue to die.

But if there is a push to get the military involved, no half measures. No peace keeping or negotiating with these animals.

...eradicating all Muslims...

Here's a fictional plan:

Caliphate

Free download: Caliphate by Tom Kratman

This is an excerpt:

It seems likely that few, if any, of the people voting Buckman into office had quite envisioned the terrible vengeance he would wreak upon the Islamic world.

A dozen Trident missile-carrying submarines were used for the attacks, six firing from the Atlantic, four from the Pacific, and two from the Indian Ocean. Only about half of each submarine's load of missiles was fired, a total of one hundred and forty-six missiles and seven hundred and thirty warheads, each in the four hundred and seventy-five kiloton range.

Fifty-five major Islamic cities, and many minor ones were on the targeting list. No major city was hit by fewer than two warheads nor more than four, except Cairo, which received five. Riyadh, Medina and Mecca were each hit by three, spaced some hours apart. In addition to those cities, the entire Nile River Valley saw nuclear weapons essentially walked along its length, a tribute of sorts to the significant Egyptian participation in the Three Cities Attacks, courtesy of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Nine missiles and forty-five warheads were sufficient to scour North Korea free of substantial concentrations of human life. The fourteen largest North Korean cities were attacked, and Pyongyang obliterated.

Marines began landing to either side of the city of Dhahran, headquarters of ARAMCO, within twenty-four hours of the nuclear attacks. It fell with little fighting as did its neighbors, Dammam and Khobar. The local populations, excepting only those critical to the oil industry and their families, were driven into the desert to die. As those remaining locals were replaced with Americans, they too were driven off.

The American presence in Arabia was to end only when the last drop of economically recoverable oil had been taken. By that time, the United States had become energy self-sufficient, once the energy assets of the former Canada were taken into account and a full rationing regime imposed. The triple cities of Dammam, Dhahran and Khobar were destroyed by nuclear weapons once the last Americans had been withdrawn.

It is believed that President Buckman's guiding principles governing the attacks were that every Islamic nation which had had a national involved in the Three Cities attacks was to be struck, that major Islamic cities were to be destroyed at a rate of not less than ten for one, that Mecca and Medina were to be reduced to the point that no landmark should remain, and that deaths were to be inflicted at a rate of not less than one hundred for one.

It known that the second and third goals were met. Indeed, no single trace remains of the Kabaa or the Grand Mosque. It is believed that the first and fourth were met as well. Indeed, counting not merely the direct victims of the attacks, but adding to that those who subsequently died of starvation, disease, lack of potable water, lack of medical care for injuries, and the complete breakdown of anything approaching civilization in the Islamic world, it is very likely that total deaths approached eight hundred million, or roughly two hundred to one.
