As I scan the Democratic Underground, I'm not sensing any euphoria that "We won!". They know Trump is as powerful today as he was yesterday.

Losing with dignity requires a sense of shame. I also suspect that the leadership of the Dem party are being pressured by their donors, like the Chi-Coms, to do something, anything to stop the Trump juggernaut.
I do not know of a single Republican who will fail to vote unless they are completely incapacitated or actually dead.
Modern Democrats are known for their indignity, not their dignity.
It’s far too late for that. Socialists don’t care about dignity - they want power, and as long as they are the party handing out free stuff they will always be in the running to bribe their way into it, no matter how bad they may look in the short run.
Why? They don’t do anything with dignity.
Democrats (leftists, socialists, progressives) know not losing with dignity, nor of grace, respect or virtue.
