President Donald Trump continued his campaign against windmills on Saturday, issuing one of the most detailed takedowns to date of one of the environmentalists favorite forms of energy.
In a speech to Turning Point USA activists in Palm Beach Florida, the president mocked the idea of a windmill-driven economy proposed by Democrats promoting the Green New Deal in Congress and on the presidential campaign trail.

Windmills are hideous. The hills and ridges around our home have been destroyed with hundreds of these huge, blinking monstrosities.

OK, be snide and snarky.
I doubt I’m the only one who has tried to follow along on the new Tech when it’s been discussed.
I did not imagine those discussions, they are real, the research is real, and some of it looks very promising.
I want the oil made into fuel for my cars for as long as I live, I despise the “Green Energy” scams, and do want to be able to heat and light my home without a second mortgage to pay for it.

I have no problem with your skepticism, but nuclear power is the only clean energy source that we will ever be able to count on.
And yes, letting program managers handle risk is the way we always get into trouble. Has to be in the design.

I've never known anyone who could see into the future.
I am truly honored

You are more likely to die in a car wreck than from a nuclear reactor. We should ban cars also.
And Chernobyl was a older reactor that they were told was dangerous.

so far. but morons want hundreds more...

you mean the Fukushima GE engineered reactors, over 40 years old, like we have here? Fukushima Reactor 1 was a 439 MWe type (BWR-3) reactor constructed in July 1967
FYI reactors always get old before they are decommissioned (unless they melt down or blow up first) else they are not cost effective.

Your claim was
"It has been estimated that a pound (454 grams) of plutonium inhaled as plutonium oxide dust could give cancer to two million people." You couldn't believe that after hundreds of atmospheric tests "About 10 metric tons of plutonium were released into the atmosphere during these tests. Plutonium concentrations in US soils attributable to atmospheric testing are approximately 2 millicuries/square kilometer for Pu-239 and 0.05 millicuries/square kilometer for Pu-238."
I gave you the link and you kept obsessing over cancer. Accoding to you, the 22,000 pounds of Plutonium gave cancer to 44 billion people. But now you want to walk that back and deny you said that. That's fine, just do it.
