If a stereotype is accurate its useful and its called common sense.

Useful stereotypes are rooted in fact and are accurate generalizations. Generalizations being just that, generalizations.

Saw this on the local Houston news this morning. No mention was made of the perp's race (which in its own way, tells you the race of the perp).
