In all, over 100 local governments in Virginia have declared Second Amendment Sanctuary status.
Moreover, Culpeper Count Sheriff Scott Jenkins has made clear he is ready to “deputize thousands” to fight in defense of gun rights.

Trump can federalize the VA Nat’l Guard in the event that Northam tries to use them to enforce his gun BS.
As soon as the first weapon affected by this law is seized by law enforcement, the dynamics change dramatically and a line is crossed that is not easily crossed back over.
The first LEO to participate in that seizure makes all LEOs, irrespective of their Constitutional leaning, a combatant for however long they remain with the LE agency conducting the seizure(s).
At that point, the LEO “us versus them” mentality becomes manifest reality. They’ll have to worry whether or not that welfare check they’re sent to is not in reality a well planned ambush. Is it a traffic stop, or an assassination? How safe is their family as they stack up outside the door of the next seizure op? Makes one wonder how one can live an entire life in up-armored mode.....
