Democrat presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg claims 21 students are shot every day under President Trump.
In other words, Bloomberg is claiming that the 14 students killed in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018, were only part of the picture that day. Seven others were allegedly shot somewhere else, if Bloombergs claim is to be believed. And the next day, 21 more were shot, and then 21 were shot again the day after that, and so on.
Bloomberg offers no substantiation for his claim. Instead, he released a video this week claiming there have been 263 school shootings since President Trump took office.
Two things need to be noted. First, Bloombergs video provides zero substantiation for the claim of 263 school shootings.
Secondly, the phrase school shootings is very subjective and, as Bloombergs gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety has shown, it can lead to massive amounts of exaggeration.
For example, in December 2014 Everytown released a report claiming 100 school shootings had occurred since the heinous December 14, 2012, attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School. Breitbart News examined the shootings listed by Everytown and reported that the list contained non-school shootings, shootings that did not occur, and accidental discharges of firearms that were legally possessed on campus.
In fact, Everytown cited an Idaho State University instructor who accidentally shot himself in the foot with his concealed carry firearm as an example of a school shooting.

The MSM discovered homelessness when Reagan was president, and conveniently forgets it when a DemocRAT is president. The problem has been getting worse, primarily due to leftist policies.
We cannot confine the mentally ill to institutions any more. That's a major component of the homeless problem.
21 students are shot every day under President Trump.
21 ghetto rats are shot every day thanks to Barry Boy 0bummer.
Fixed it.
I think a side straddle hop or flutter kick contest would be better.
A totalitarian like Bloomberg is just itching raise that number!
You mean like with a camera? - as Clinton would say
A large number of violent gang members are enrolled in a school. I wouldnt be surprised if 21 of them were shot by other gangsters every day.
He’s not going to be the 1st Jewish POTUS.
Are these the same 21 who get shot every day? If so, they must be pretty dumb students. Common core?
Lying runt sack of crap.
Meanwhile, Bloomturd has retired FBI aholes and retired NYPD types protecting his worthless ass!
A friend of mine will soon have a machine that can Force the users Head up their own Ass perfected soon.
I keep telling him that these many democrats have already achieved that without resorting to any ‘machine’.
Pity.
You ain’t takin’ my gun, runt.
It’s like Sniffer Biden said - Democrats don’t need facts, they have [their own] truth!
648 victims were under the age of 18 and 2131 were under the age of 22.
If there were 21 x 365 = 7665 student shootings, 2132/7665 or 27.8% of the gunshot victims died. I've read elsewhere that the mortality for gunshot wounds in the US is 27.4%.
If everyone under the age of 22 were actually a student, this might make some sense. However, the vast majority under-22 homicide victims are Persons of Color engaged in the retail drug trade in urban areas. And are unlikely to be attending school.
He’s hitting the crack pipe again, I see.
He’s a fricken’ moron. Makes one wonder how someone soooooo idiotic can become so rich.
Students yes students
Students have had his sling crack and heroin on street corners in New York City Chicago Philly
Yes those students
I think the parameters are any shooting within 5 miles of a school gets them included.
How many youngsters contract HIV daily, Bloomin Idiot?
Being shot includes both killed and injured. Depending on the tone of voice, etc. being shot at could be counted.
If the shooter gets of 50 rounds, kills one with 3 rounds, injures 3 with 5 rounds and misses 42 of 50 times, how do we count it?
The whole topic is more emotional that logical or factual.
The libel laws in the US need to be changed. The lying with no recourse has to stop. That and term limits....
