For only the third time in U.S. history, the House of Representatives has impeached a sitting president.
On Wednesday, the House voted almost entirely along party lines to pass two articles of impeachment accusing President Donald Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress for his attempts to get Ukraine to investigate a political rival.
Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was one of the few Democratic holdouts — the only one to just vote “present.” Two Democrats voted no on the abuse of power article and three opposed the obstruction of Congress charge.
“After doing my due diligence in reviewing the 658-page impeachment report, I came to the conclusion that I could not in good conscience vote either yes or no,” Gabbard said in a statement emailed from her presidential campaign.

That’s smart on her part. Playing the oh-so-concerned neutral independent thinker in the crowd. We need to keep an eye on her.
Gabbard has some pretty significant thighs, but still not enough to jerk this.

What a fraud and spineless woman. She can’t say? Or won’t say? Actually less character than the vile dems who voted for impeachment. She was pro life until it wasn’t convenient. She endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016 and now wants us to think she’s has the United States best interest at heart. She’d have no fan base if it wasn’t for men stuck in puberty like Rintintin who think if they post enough articles Tulsi will show up at his door and let him apply her 15 layers of facial mud.
Liberal wacko, pretending to be balanced, middle of the road. Hoping that Dems will wake up during the primaries and realize that all of their candidates are so radicalized (or old and crazy), they can’t possibly beat Trump.
Brokered convention. Smoky back room. Gabbard in the white dress is the dark horse candidate. The one no one really supports, but no one strongly opposes. The one who has given enough mixed signals that independents and uninformed Republicans might be tricked into supporting.
She has a shot.
