Nancy Pelosi has instructed her caucus today not to gloat about impeaching Trump and to show unity during the impeachment debate, because they want to the American people to think they are serious and somber:

The mere fact that Pelosi had to tell her members not to gloat and cheer over impeachment just shows everyone how unserious and joyful they really are over impeaching Trump. If they were actually somber and reflective about this, there’d be no need to give these instructions.

Pelosi to staff: Tell our caucus to fake it, to act totally out of character, and unlike our “impeachment hearings”, let’s pretend we are not doins as we really are, actng totally out of partisan interest and not the national interest.

I think we get so caught up here in our Freeperverse that we sometimes forget we’re just a tiny sliver of the American pie. More of our countrymen are aware of this fraudulent impeachment than we know. Let things fall into place. The RATS overplayed their hand on this one, and they will not be rewarded at the ballot box for it.

I was cheering on the Clinton impeachment hearings. But once the vote was taken, I cried . . . for the Republic.

I live in a deep blue state also known as the Soviet of Washington. Last night driving home from work there were people lined up in the cold and rain for 4 blocks, chanting and holding signs (Impeach Trump, Dump Trump, and Merry Impeachment).
The locals are giddy as can be. The rest of us are just waiting to take revenge at the polls (actually mail in ballot) in 2020.
Expect the Dem's across the country to go nuts over impeachment and then when it fails, expect them go over even more nuts.
