Cyrus Vance Jr Id about o have a stroke
Democrat attempt to end run around constitutional double jeopardy protection has been quashed.
------
DA spokesman Danny Frost vowed to continue to pursue the case.
We will appeal todays decision and will continue working to ensure that Mr. Manafort is held accountable for the criminal conduct against the People of New York that is alleged in the indictment, he said.
Manhattan judge says the law is stupid upon releasing man under new criminal justice reforms
Good luck with it. DA is running into the constitution - not only the federal but also the state which has double jeopardy protection.
No one may be prosecuted twice for the same crime.
interesting development
Swing State voters would probably agree
Yes....I believe all other charges are Federal which means The President will probably Pardon him....tomorrow.
Glad it worked out this way, hope President Trump pardons him a half hour after being sworn in for his second term.
HA
I think if Manaford receives a full pardon he can be tried in the State as the previous case is erased. Better to commute his sentence, then it is over and Paul can go home.
Cyrus Vance Jr!
We can’t get away from the criminal impact of the elite Deep State thugs in DC and our 57 states as per Obama.
I say he commute the sentence this evening right after this sham impeachment vote just to explode some liberal heads.
Doesn’t work that way. The other case is already dead in the water.
Set him free, tonight at the rally. Party time.
We’ve heard that before from every demonrat of every last one of their causes.
I sincerely hope President Trump pardons Paul Manafort the day after he wins reelection!
Not so fast. It'll be appealed.
Are evading state taxes and evading federal taxes the same crime? If not then double jeopardy should not exist.
