Iceland was recognized as the most gender-equal country for the eleventh year in a row. Other Nordic countries - including Norway, Finland and Sweden - and Nicaragua rounded out the top five.Nicaragua?!

Woman in the same job and same positions are actually paid more than men.

Men and women will all be dead in 11 years so it doesn’t matter.

What does it matter now? The world is going to end in, what, 11.5 years?

They do have equal pay. You can be danmed sure that every big corporation adjusts its salaries and raises so that the average for women is the same as that of men.
The reason for what they are calling a discrepancy is that more men choose to work in demanding, high risk jobs which naturally pay more! NFL for example.

In the US we have “equally for equal work” laws. That’s all we need. this insistence women get equal pay on a general average is not what the law provides.

In general, women are willing to trade things like flexible working hours, shorter commuting distances, safety and atmosphere for lower pay. Men are willing to give up those things for higher pay. Part of the reason is simply because men don't have the choice.
Yeah, I know it sounds sexist, but it is also true.

Based on time on the job (and for the same job), it already has been established that women are paid
more than men.
But you can twist the statistics to say otherwise (and you know what "they" say about statistics) because women tend to move in and out of the workforce more than men, and the fields women pursue at university tend to lead to tower-paying positions.
No, the movement wants a better pay rate

It’s easy to have pay equality when everyone just gets one banana a day.

That’s exactly why many departments have been taken over by women.
If they ever mandated equal pay, fewer women would be hired.
