This question was answered by the Supreme Court. Since then democrat appointed judges have ignored SC rulings and have issued edicts contrary to SC rulings on several occasions. CHALLENGING SC Rulings.
This is Purposeful Defiance and the SC has to date FAILED to answer numerous Lower Court Defiance of previous SC Rulings.
Why? Is there a Political Component to this? Are certain members of the SC publicly stating one opinion while actually holding another opinion?
Thereby, in affect, supporting in fact that which they publicly rule against yet, refuse to in fact support?
In other words, is the SC playing us?

Fine is a toss-up. Could play it straight and do an honest inquiry report, or go rogue and play to the Democrats.
His reputation is mixed. Hoping he’s an honest Clinton appointee but they are in rare supply these days at the higher levels of government.
If Clinton appointed him, the last thing he would be is honest.

SCOTUS will slap down all the injunctions and re-establish itself and its rulings. AFTER Trump is out of office. Until then, they (Roberts and his gang of fellow lefties) are saying “go right ahead and block everything he does for no good reason even if it directly contradicts us. Obama and Bush sent National Guard troops to the Mexican border too. Maybe he should include them in his investigation.
Is the DoD Inspector General trying to help the Democrats support the drug cartels? The whole open borders push is for that purpose.
