In a rare public order Tuesday, the chief judge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court [FISC] strongly criticized the FBI over its surveillance-application process, giving the bureau until Jan. 10 to come up with solutions, in the wake of findings from Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.
The order, from the court's presiding judge Rosemary M. Collyer, came just a week after the release of Horowitz's withering report about the wiretapping of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, as part of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
"The FBI's handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the [Office of Inspector General] report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above," Collyer wrote in her four-page order. "The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable."

Once caught and cornered their only response as a federal bureaucracy is to write a letter to itself, when adequate laws that apply to we the people are sufficient remedy.
Solutions? How about firing every FBI agent and every DOJ prosecutor and every CIA agent.
You can’t “fix”crooked.
The fact that many of these fib agents involved in this are still employed by the fib says it all.

I suspect this letter from the FISA court to the FBI is part of the offensive.
Translated: “No soup for you!”
I wonder how long it will be before someone convicted of perjury appeals to the FBI misleading the Court and getting a slap on the rest.
Here is a solution, disband the FISA court they can’t be trusted. Even when faced with criminal behavior they punt. Disband them and transfer every single judge to immigration court.
Justice Roberts its time for you to wake the hell up.

Throw it back at the FBI? Well yeah they were corrupt. But what about the FISA judge? Anyone with a lick of common sense would have asked the right questions to get to the bottom of this and see it was a corrupt political farce.

Obviously Rosemary Collyer stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
Sessions apparently was behind the barium meals for leaders; one such ensnared the Senate Select Intelligence Committee (or whatever their exact name is).
I pointed that out over a year ago wondering how many good collars are going to be wiped away thanks to these cretins.
A softball response to the internal question: “What if they learn we were in on it?”
Honestly, this is a big deal for the FISC to go public. And whatever the earlier Dec 5th reference to, should be interesting.

Turn down every application before the court due to lack of standing. Continue to do so until the FBI fires and prosecutes all signatories to the subject fraud committed before the court.
That will get their God damned attention.
He doesn't oversee it. No more than he oversees any of the Circuit Courts. His only role is to hand pick current judges to serve part time in FISC.
There is even a FISA Court of appeals, also not under supervision of CJ Roberts. FISC is a self-contained specialty court. Congress likes to make self-contained specialty courts.
