No matter what happens Democraps will try again and again to unseat this President. Best thing to stop all of this is to have a Republican House.

Good points.

The Senate should grant a summary judgment on this fiasco pointing out the unconstitutionality and illegality of even launching an investigation without articulatable reasonable suspicion of a crime or probable cause to move forward to formal charges.

Hillary is typical of the Democrats. They can’t believe they lost the election and have an overwhelming need to reverse it.

This must be returned to the house to correct the methods that were used, omissions, prejudice, and lack of fidelity with the constitution requirements, before it can be adjudicated by the Senate.

If Mitch did that I have to admit it sure would be funny.

No crime is defined, therefore void for vagueness.

No, no, no, no, no....if the House sent over a defective case, the Senate should toss it out the nearest window.

The senate should be forced to list their witnesses and they should get no witnesses that they had not already had. They voted to say they have evidence of abuse. There should be nothing required for them to investigate. So if they can’t use the witnesses that they have to demonstrate the abuse then there should not be a trail.

Impeachment is just the House of Representatives displaying their evidence of abuse that they already have. If they don’t have it they should not have voted for impeachment.

McConnell should refuse to accept the impeachment claims unless the actual high crimes or misdemeanors are specified.

This must be returned to the house to correct the methods that were used, omissions, prejudice, and lack of fidelity with the constitution requirements, before it can be adjudicated by the Senate. Even if the House used 'correct' methods - the impeachment vote outcome would not change and anti-Trump media bias/spin would not change. The democrats and media are not interested in facts, justice or the law/Constitution. Democrats and their media supporters live by the following philosophy:

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

If the senate is to summarily dismiss the impeachment, they need to specifically itemize each and every reason why the house failed to do their job properly and why the charges are specious, partisan and without merit. A quick vote to dismiss will be a massive miscarriage of justice for the president. The senate needs to do right by Trump and lay out a detailed case for why the house’s charges are utter garbage and not deserving of serious consideration.

And President Trump needs to call a press conference and present his side of the story (personally or through his lawyers), which the democrats have thus far refused to let him do in any sort of fair forum.
