An environmental reporter in Massachusetts posted a video on Twitter late Monday that she said showed a freight train hauling coal being met with a group of climate change activists on a dark track.
The train was seen moving slowly through Worchester, Mass., and about a dozen activists with small lights could be seen surrounding the tracks. The trains horn was blaring, but the activists appeared to continue to give it chase. The train was headed to New Hampshire, the reporter wrote.

On September 24, 2008, Gore made the following statements in a speech given at the Clinton Global Initiative:
"If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration."
These remarks were similar to ones he'd made the previous year:
"I can't understand why there aren't rings of young people blocking bulldozers," Mr. Gore said, "and preventing them from constructing coal-fired power plants."
“”I can’t understand why there aren’t rings of young people blocking bulldozers,” Mr. Gore said”
Rachel Corrie knows why...
Old Charlie stole the handle
And the train it wont stop going
No way to slow down
Mr Gore should be required to tell US how we stop this;

Earlier this year, US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the British Geological Survey (BGS) were forced to update the World Magnetic Model a year ahead of schedule due to the speed with which the magnetic north pole is shifting out of the Canadian Arctic and toward Russias Siberia.
Deep solar minimum on the verge of an historic milestone

Solar minimum is a normal part of the 11-year sunspot cycle, but the last one and the current one have been far deeper than most. One of the consequences of a solar minimum is a reduction of solar storms and another is the intensification of cosmic rays. The just ended solar cycle 24 turned out to be one of the weakest in more than a century continuing a weakening trend that began in the 1980s and, if the latest forecasts are correct, the next solar cycle will be the weakest in more than 200 years.
One of the natural impacts of decreasing solar activity is the weakening of the ambient solar wind and its magnetic field which, in turn, allows more and more cosmic rays to penetrate the solar system. Galactic cosmic rays are high-energy particles originating from outside the solar system that can impact the Earths atmosphere. Our first line of defense from cosmic rays comes from the sun as its magnetic field and the solar wind combine to create a shield that fends off cosmic rays attempting to enter the solar system. The shielding action of the sun is strongest during solar maximum and weakest during solar minimum with the weakening magnetic field and solar wind. The intensity of cosmic rays varies globally by about 15% over a solar cycle because of changes in the strength of the solar wind, which carries a weak magnetic field into the heliosphere, partially shielding Earth from low-energy galactic charged particles.
The Russians need that coal for their aircraft carrier.
A problem that will be quickly crushed , no doubt.
Commie crushing choo choo.
Run them down
The article mangled the spelling of the city—the correct spelling of the city is Worcester, MA.
It is pronounced “Wooster”, btw.
If you want to pronounce it with a Boston accent say “Worster” which is most appropriate since the place is awful!
It’s more like Woustah.
“Jimmy’s goin over to Woustah.”
The coal train should’ve run them over. I guess Bow (a power plant in New Hampshire) is still a coal burning plant.
Agreed.
I remember an attempt to stop a nuclear waste train several years back. When they failed, the girls went into absolute hysterics.
BRING back the train bulls and their blackjacks.
I remember someone trying to block a bulldozer back in the 1960s. Nice photo printed of him afterward in a magazine printed back then laying face down in the mud with dozer tracks across his back.
I think I remember that one. He laid down behind the dozer as it was backing up. The operator should have been dragging his blade.
Let Mr. Gore lead by example.
Trains had cow catchers for a reason.
Ok, freeze in the dark.
Their choice.
