The 1st Amendment is freedom of the press, not freedom to lie.

We all understand that......except for the press.

The role of the press is to stagnate in their jobs while government operatives take over their media conglomerates. Then it's their job to eat the tea sandwiches with the crusts cut off, drink the complimentary cocktails, read the published talking points, and do the most with what you are told.

Be greatful there is no bike rack memorial in your name outside your headquarters.

Oh I already know “The rule of the press” its to cover up ANYTHING Democrats do since they all voted for them. The “Press” is nothing more than shills for the Democrat Party, always have been now they just make it beyond obvious..8 years of Obama they refused to report on ANYTHING that made Obama look bad..their motto, if we dont report it, it never happened

I'm certainly happy that THAT is not yet my fate...

The press was lost somewhere between the Dole / Kemp campaign of 1996 and the time the press agreed to not comment or ask about anything that had to do with Barry Soretto, of Kenya, Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. Especially how he paid for college or of any of his relations.

Does the press understand the role of the press? Unless they want to admit that they are a propaganda arm of the DNC, they should start showing some objectivity and reporting facts over innuendo.

I make my living off the evening news
Just give me something, something I can use
People love it when you lose
They love dirty laundry

Well, I coulda’ been an actor, but I wound up here
I just have to look good, I don’t have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry

. . .

We can do “The Innuendo”
We can dance and sing
When it’s said and done we haven’t told you a thing
We all know that crap is king
Give us dirty laundry!

Someone should redo Don Henley’s video with modern ‘journalism’ but the same lyrics. It would be a perfect fit.

Chris Wuss-ass covers both sides of a story - the lying, demoncrappy poop side of the story, and the poopy, demoncrappy lies side of the story.   (Bondi should have responded to Wuss-ass this way...)

Right now, there is no such thing as a “fair” press should have been her answer and that includes you, Wallass.

President Trump understands the role of the press much better than any of them, he’s a master of using their tactics against them. They’ve been trying to bring him down for three years and he keeps coming out on top so I’d say he understands them pretty well.

He should’ve asked:

Chris Wallace - why don’t you do an entire program about what was behind the Murdochs pulling Fox from British cable in 2017, under false pretences, just when Hannity/Solomon/Carter & co were the only MSM worldwide revealing the facts behind the greatest political scandals - Spygate & Coupgate - in US history?

29 Aug 2017: BBC: Sky stops broadcasting Fox News in UK
Sky is to stop broadcasting Fox News in the UK after low audience figures, the media firm has said.
21st Century Fox, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch, said the channel was being withdrawn as it was not commercially viable.
The decision was not related to Fox’s takeover bid for Sky, a source told the BBC...
“Fox News is focused on the US market and designed for a US audience and, accordingly, it averages only a few thousand viewers across the day in the UK.
“We have concluded that it is not in our commercial interest to continue providing Fox News in the UK,” (a company spokesman) added.

The source said that Fox News had about 2,000 average daily viewers...
However, figures from the Broadcaster’s Audience Research Board (Barb) suggest that Fox News’ average UK daily viewing figures were nearly 60,000 per day this year...
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-41087659

the audience would have undoubtedly grown rapidly, once Brits realised everything else they were being told by MSM was FakeNews.

this move meant Brits - whose Govt (perhaps) & “former” agent Christopher Steele were implicated in Spygate - were deprived of the only media entity worldwide telling the truth about this scandal.

in other words, Fox had the biggest news scoop in the world - and it is ongoing on Hannity/Tucker Carlson/Laura Ingraham/Justice/Levin & a few other Fox shows - but not on programs featuring Wallace, or Howard Kurtz or some others I could name on Fox.

it is inconceivable Murdoch would throw this scoop away in Britain, if not to protect the British govt. the same in Australia, where Murdoch media has done almost nothing to explain the Spygate/Coupgate conspiracies revealed on Fox. this may also be explained by Murdoch wanting to protect the Australian govt, due to its own role in Spygate, via Alexander Downer, for example.

chris, three years of accusations, name calling, stompy feet, temper tantrums, along with threats is the wrong way of exhibiting how “fair” the “free and fair” press has been doing their journalistic duties...

Does Wallace even understand that Trump just trolled him into asking tougher questions of Comey than he would have if not for Trump’s tweet?
