Adam Schiff’s $391 Million Dollar Lie
The Post & Email ^ | Dec 12, 2019 | Ren Jander

$391 million is the exact amount stated in the official Articles of Impeachment that President Trump is accused of holding from Ukraine between July 3 and September 11, 2019. If the President did not hold that money back from Ukraine, the entire basis of impeachment is removed. My research proves that this number – $391 million – is a devious fraud perpetrated by Adam Schiff (and others) that GOP reps and counsel have failed to properly dispute.

I have no doubt that the Republicans and House staff legal counsel are genuinely trying to protect President Trump from the impeachment coup. Unfortunately, they are failing on multiple fronts to present the best defense. President Trump must get stronger counsel before any aspect of his defense is presented in the Senate.

Furthermore, just because there are not enough votes now to remove POTUS, beware of jack in the box witnesses crawling from the infestation of the White House. POTUS is in danger. The information below must be made clear to the American people.

Schiff, Pelosi and Nadler are rushing impeachment because they are afraid you’ll learn the following truth before they vote to impeach. So please contact your representatives about this report, and share it on social media. You have power.

THE MONEY

For fiscal year 2019, the Department of Defense (DoD) appropriations act gave $250 million for the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). And in the 2019 Department of State appropriations act, $115 million was granted to Ukraine for the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program.

That only adds up to $365 million. So why does Schiff’s House impeachment report [...] refer to $391 million? This is because [he] has tricked everyone into believing the FMF granted to Ukraine in 2019 was $141 million. It wasn’t.

I found this article posted in a comment thread on TheConservativeTreeHouse.com. It is a long and very detailed article. To be able to verify whether this is a proper and truthful piece one has to follow all the links. I haven't had time to do that. So I cannot speak for the veracity of this research. Still, I post it here on FR for two reasons:

1) We know that Adam Schiff is an habitual liar and nothing is beneath him.

2) Before I read this article I had happened to watch a few minutes of the hearings in the Judicial Committee. I heard rep. Collins talking about the money that was "withheld". He was very upset that a Democrat had accused PDJT of causing the death of 13 Ukrainians, who had died in clashes with the Russian supported forces during the time the money was discussed. He said something that I then did not understand, but after having read the article above it makes much more sense:

"The money the democrats were talking about was not current but perspective money"

(Collins's statement can found here at time stamp 08:32:15.)

So for anyone familiar with congressional the minutiae of congressional appropriations, please, have a go at this.

PS: I've got to quote Treeper fred5678 who says:

Just called both Jordan’s office in OH and Sensenbrenner’s office in WI.
The first call was just taken verbally, but at the WI office the guy got on the web and confirmed he could see the article and confirmed the author’s name, and said he would pass along.

Either:
1. This is a giant amazing hoax article
2. All true and being held close to the vest to blow the whole charade out of the water on the first day of the Senate trial.
3. The info is so esoteric and complex (thanks all you lawyers and accountants!!) that it has escaped the notice of the GOP while battling Schiff and Co. 24/7.
4. A carefully laid plan by VSGPOTUS to embarrass the hell out of the Dems!!

PING!

This piece may be a hoax, but if it is true the information should be conveyed to all the President’s supporters in the Congress. Please, have a look, and use your connections if you consider it truthful.

Why are schiff and nadler and pelosi calling the shots?

Why are no southern dems heavily involved or speaking out against this?

This isn’t complex accounting by government standards. Money is shifted and reprogrammed all the time. So if the GOP isn’t aware of this (assuming it’s correct) then they are incompetent. A breakdown of when what money went to Ukraine from what source should have been the first thing they compiled since that’s the core of the whistleblower BS that started this all.

Just what I was thinking, it’s these psychopaths from the coasts calling the shots, two of the most corrupt states in the union which is why I think this thing is going backfire on them like a nuke if it isn’t already. I know a few moderate democrats who are sick of this and I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of them stay home election day.

Sounds very reasonable, but if they haven't done it, now is the time!!!

indeed. My thoughts as well. The more water goes under the bridge on this democrat election tampering scheme against the president, I think we’re going to hear from rebellious rats. They will do anything to keep those gold plated do nothing “careers” where all you have to do is run your mouth for a living and you can become multi millionaires from a govt salary in a few short years

I noticed another thing yesterday in the hearing. Several DEMS referred to the accuracy of the July phone call transcript. One Congresswoman even alluded to the idea that people shouldn’t believe any of it. Well that cuts both ways right? Maybe Trump actually said, “please don’t investigate Hunter Biden, his father was our VP and he like our country has been through a lot.”

I agree your comment re Mulvaney, but here the figures are the important thing.

Who did what and why is a latter issue. A full blown conspiracy theorist can do his or her sums correctly, even though the interpretations may be less sound.

I really hope someone has time to do a proper audit of this piece, and if it holds water then get the info to the GOP representatives.

Unfortunately, they are failing on multiple fronts to present the best defense.

There is no amount of defense that the Republicans can offer up to defend against this kangaroo court. The Democrat controlled House of Representatives has already determined that eating pizza or ice cream in the oval office constitutes a high crime in the eyes of the democrat party..........You get the analogy.

Just thank God that they don't hold the majority in the Senate...........

source https://www.defensenews.com/congress/2019/09/25/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-us-aid-package-to-ukraine-that-trump-delayed/

Here’s what you need to know about the U.S. military aid to Ukraine-——its conflict with Russia began in 2014.

In June, the Pentagon announced plans to provide $250 million to Ukraine in security cooperation funds for additional training, equipment and advisory efforts to build the capacity of Ukraine’s armed forces. The U.S. State Department separately planned to provide $141 million in aid.

The U.S. has committed more than $1.5 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since 2014, when Russian-backed separatists began driving tanks through eastern Ukraine. The latest equipment was largely more of the same aid the U.S. previously supplied, aimed at helping Ukraine monitor and secure its borders, deploy its forces more safely and effectively, and make progress toward NATO inter-operability.

The Defense Department’s tranche was set to include sniper rifles, rocket-propelled grenade launchers, counter-artillery radars, electronic warfare detection and secure communications, night vision equipment, and military medical supplies and treatment. The department previously included counter-sniper equipment, Humvees and tactical drones as well.

(hat Tip Peter C Earle)

When are the Pubbies gonna ask these questions?

1. Why is the U.S. giving $400 million to Ukraine, anyway?

It makes little sense. Europe is providing aid to Ukraine as it reacts to an encroaching Russia, which annexed Crimea in 2014. One can see how EU nations might be concerned about a Russia with Western ambitions, but with 2,800 miles of Europe and another 3,000 miles of ocean between us (in addition to our being $22 trillion in debt and running the first trillion-dollar budget deficit in history), foreign aid (of all types) is one of a thousand potential starting points for getting our fiscal house in order. Doing so would also ensure that America has clean hands, where the tragic effects of the fog of war are concerned.

2. Exactly how many U.S. government employees are dedicated to dealings with Ukraine?

The endless parade of present/former U.S. special deputy chief acting assistant provisional envoy policy liaison advisers (and their assistants, drivers, food tasters, etc.) tasked with providing aid, defense advice, and more to Ukraine is staggering ......as must be their salaries, and will be their pensions and retirement benefits......all paid for on the backs of working class Americans.

I think Gene Taylor of Mississippi was about the last of the Blue Dog Dems (he was replaced by Repub Steven Palazzo in 2011)...the transformation of the Dems is about complete.
