SEOUL, Dec. 13 (Yonhap) -- Fresh satellite imagery showed a 10-meter-long truck and a possible crane at North Korea's satellite launching site, U.S. experts said, amid concerns the communist nation could launch a long-range rocket from the site.
Jack Liu, an expert on North Korea's missile program, and Peter Makowsky, an imagery analysis expert, said in an analysis on the website 38 North that continued activity was captured on satellite imagery taken Wednesday of the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground, better known as the Dongchang-ri site.

Speculation has mounted, however, that continued activities at the Dongchang-ri site are intended to increase pressure on the United States to make concessions in their stalled nuclear talks before the end of the year.
So it is possible this could mean one thing, it could mean something else.
Interesting anyway
As long as it doesn’t hit anyone...enjoy the event. we do it all the time. In fact we just tested a intermediate , formerly banned, missile yesterday.
Sorry, Yonghap News
For some reason my browser “corrects” that.
Yonhap.
(Ok I think that’s right now)
Interesting that we just lunched an IRBM, the kind that was banned under the INF, yesterday.
I can’t imagine what China offers Kim for his obeisance- maybe his life.
Long past due for a Nork BBQ. Hey,that rhymes!
WRONG!
We SHOULD NOT sit by and watch him perfect ICBMs that can hit the Continental United States.
Rods from God time....
Well somewhat interesting, but not all that interesting considering Russia had already been testing in this area, and caused us to have to react. I believe China has also.
Thankfully Trump wasn’t going to sit still like an Obama or Clinton would.
Sooner or later, we’re going to have to put this guy out of our misery.
He was offered a carrot. His choice...
We SHOULD NOT sit by and watch him perfect ICBMs that can hit the Continental United States.
>No problemo, all Trump has to do is negotiate. (sarcasm)
It really bothers me to see Trump treating these godless, end justifies the means, Communists, like he’s negotiating a business deal with a capitalist or something.
Look, Kim was firing off long range missiles every few months when Trump engaged. Since then he has fired a few intermediate range missiles. As far as we know he has cooled it on his Nuclear ambitions too. Now that’s not to claim that things are perfect. They’re a long way from it, but something was accomplished to this point.
Trump did try to persuade the guy. I have no problem with that. Going in with guns blazing from the get-go wasn’t going to pull international leaders on board.
Negotiating in good faith, will make Kim look like the problem in the end. Once folks grasp that universally, the U. S. will have to do what we would have liked to have seen done years ago.
Being the President doesn’t give you instant international and even national support. You have to earn it, and this process has been open enough for folks to know Trump won’t be flying off the handle when he needs to take action.
What better option did we have than this?
Russia and China have a few hundred pointed at us. Should we stop them too? Your ignorance of the world is what STARTS wars. We Invented the atomic bomb and used it justifiably. No other nation, even our enemies that have them, have ever used one. Kim or anyone one else would never use a nuke, because they know they would be turned to glass.
What better option? The anti-communist in me - how many of our servicemen have died fighting against these communists in Korea, Vietnam, and elsewhere - revolts against the very idea of buddy-buddy negotiating with them.
My dad fought against them from Pusan to the Yalu River, myself in the cold war.
Crazy world, we fought against the communists in foreign lands rather than have to fight them here. A great many Americans died fighting them there. And here they are today, every day in our faces in the form of the Democrat Party.
Sorry, I cringe at the very idea of any kind of accomodations made with them. I don’t trust any deal made with these godless lying devils.
But then, I’m not president, neither are you. Dealing with the communists is his job, not ours. One man’s opinion.
The discussion you two are having, reminds me of the thinking of many on this issue.
Is Kim logical? Sane?
If yes, then maybe all of this is bluster. However if Kim is dangerous, then that is another thing altogether.
The exact things you two are saying, are being asked by some very significant people right now.
David, with all due respect Kim is a mental basket case with no compunction of killing tens of thousands on a whim.
Let me know when that sinks in ace.
Quit acting as if you think Trump will give away the store. That’s nonsense and you know it.
You voiced you opinion and so did I.
I never claimed to be president by the way.
