The Iraq war started by your uncle cost our country Trillions of dollars, thousands of our soldiers killed and more maimed, and the middle-east is now much more destabilized than before the Iraq war. Invasion of Iraq was 2nd worst foreign policy blunder. 1st was starting a guerrilla war with 7000 miles long supply route, which cost us 50,000 killed and many more maimed, and Vietnam was lost to Ho Chi Minh the communist.
For the USA a conventional land war in Asia is a very bad idea.
