AUSTIN, Texas — Republican George P. Bush, the only member of the Bush dynasty still in public office, condemned Thursday recurring episodes of what he described as racist or hateful rhetoric within the Texas GOP, and ripped what he called false accusations fanned by his Hispanic heritage.
Bush, Texas’ land commissioner, first denounced a white GOP state legislator who suggested “Asian” challengers on the ballot in 2020 were motivated by race. He then joined others Saturday in calling for the resignation of a Republican county chairwoman near Houston who used a racial slur in a text message about a black party organizer.

In my honest opinion (IMHO) any war with any country in East/South East/South Asia is bad idea. Only place to win a war in middle-east & Europe & AFrica. Heck the middle-east countries can not even defeat tiny Israel.

I actually knew George P. back when he first got out of law school. I thought he was fairly impressive at the time and thought he was even more impressive after his military service in Afghanistan. Not many politico kids born with silver spoons in their mouths enlist in the military these days.
Damn, I sure have been disappointed with him since them.
