Thursday, December 20: Brexit comes back to Parliament

Johnson has also pledged to reintroduce the Brexit Bill — which would ratify the deal he struck with the EU — as an "early Christmas present."

The prime minister is also expected to hold the first reading of his Brexit Bill immediately after the Queen's Speech — possibly as early as Friday.

This would only be the first step, however. Parliament would enter recess for its holidays afterward, and the legislation required to pass Brexit wouldn't be introduced until next year.

What happens now? Well, if the last three years are any indication, SJW remoaners will protest and whine and complain, and they, the opposition politicians, and the courts will do everything in their power to try and continue to thwart him, and “resist” at every step.

Only difference is that up until now, the Tories haven’t had a powerful enough mandate to overcome all the resistance. Hopefully the power they gained last night is finally enough.

At what point does he visit Queen Elizabeth II?

Before or after forming his cabinet?

The other thing about this is the whole scale blood letting of old parliamentarians is going to make the next parliament a lot more anti establishment.

Going to be interesting to see how the new blood changes Parliament. Listening to Sky News talking to the old Speaker, you realize Boris has been fighting parts of his own party as well as the Left for the last year.

It was sort of a Trump-Paul Ryan situation. The old Speaker was pretty much working against Brexit.

Hip hip hooray! for Boris... A victory for freedom and democracy and a very damaging defeat for antisemitic values of Socialism. The Democrats in the United States should be very worried... This is the first death-knell in what will hopefully be a tidal-wave towards democracy and away from the oppressive policies of Socialism.

Sadly... American Democrats have swung too far to the left, and this impeachment for the sake of impeachment of a duly elected leader will be their death-knell.

Johnson's first big task will be to appoint a new Cabinet. Liberated by a large majority, the prime minister will be free to shape his top team exactly as he pleases without fear of upsetting one faction or another.

Here's my advice, fire everybody and start new.

What will happen? The Labour will say that Boris was helped by Russia or Ukraine or Trump and will try to impeach him... 😋

Time for Parliament to pass a new law requiring a clean break Brexit. Then tell Brussels to get stuffed and walk away.

The opposition will try the equivalent of impeaching Boris.
