Here’s the likely whistleblower — and the questions he should answer
NY Post ^ | December 12 2019 | Post Editorial Board

In the middle of Russia fever, the liberal press took a hectoring tone to any outlet that showed a glimmer of doubt. How dare any journalist not believe that President Trump is an agent of Vladimir Putin! Who would question the upstanding virtues of the FBI?

Of course, we now know that the conspiracy theories were wrong. There was no Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.

And, moreover, the inspector general report proves that the FBI trampled over civil liberties and common sense in pursuit of the case. While idle conversation during a meeting with George Papadopoulos and an Australian official may have sparked the inquiry, Crossfire Hurricane, it was only because of outlandish gossip in a Democrat-funded opposition report, the Steele Dossier, that the FBI was able to land a surveillance warrant for Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Even as the agency found that Steele’s sources did not back up the dossier, that facts did not back up the dossier, they continued the red scare. When it came out that Page was an informant for the CIA, an FBI lawyer lied about it.

Well, the NYP named him, with a qualified “most likely”. Will other news outlets follow suit, or try to shame the Post for this act of treason, and continue to refuse to be journalists? I’m guessing mostly the latter.

During Thursday’s House hearing, Hank Johnson made a very interesting comment during one round of discussion. At around 6pm he said, “....well, now that we know who the whistle blower is, .....”. Unfortunately I was unable to pick up the rest of his comments. Has the identity of the whistle blower been officially revealed? To me it was obvious that Hank Johnson knows the whistle blower.

Not a whistleblower. The man was a spy.

If he’s a CIA analyst, I’m betting that at some point he took a class on how to resist interrogations or at least watched a powerpoint on them. Bring his bony, liberal hipster ass into a room with a board, some straps to hold him down, a towel or two and a water hose. I’d say, if he doesn’t pee his pants and start talking right away, I’ll give him until the grab him by the arms to strap him down.

Getting the “How to Resist” briefing don’t mean much. I never worked for the CIA and even I got that briefing from them.

I know. I got one too. But, the likes of Ciaramella never thought he’d ever have to actually use those techniques. He was told by Schiff, et al, that he would be protected and no one would ever find out who he was, etc etc. Not so much.

Charlie became a “whistleblower” with 2nd hand info (form changed) so he could try to protect himself from prosecution. He’s neck deep in Ukraine’s/US money laundering w Burisma and others. Tic Tic......

"Shouldn’t we know the answers to these questions now, and not in two or three years when the inevitable official reports and tell-all books come out?"

Welcome to the real world, N Y Post editors. The "official reports and tell-all books" already HAVE been written, and it is common knowledge in all but the Swamp that it is Eric Ciaramella. It's good that you can admit it, but it would have been much better if you would have been out in front.

The whistleblower is most likely CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella.

I wonder if this is now allowed on Twitter or if they ban excerpts from the post.
